Necrosis of the recipient site (photos) – WRassman,M.D. BaldingBlog


Over and over again, we see this terrible complication from a hair transplant where the recipient site died (necrosis),  In this case, we have an after healing result with massive scarring from the necrosis.  Out of over 17,000 surgeries done my my group, we have never had such a complication.  I suspect that this was the result of using too much epinephrine to control the bleeding during the hair transplant by someone who clearly didn’t know what they were doing.
