Headline Panel at the Tinnitus Expo!

Headline Session:

We are delighted to announce the Headline Session of the 2019 Tinnitus Expo! Consisting of a comedian, DJ, musician and TV Presenter, our panel will be sharing their experiences of living with tinnitus in careers you might initially think they’d avoid.

Meet the panelists:

Samantha Baines

Sam is an award winning comedian and actress, currently appearing in Magic Mike Live! at the Hippodrome in London. Her acting credits include The Crown, Silent Witness, Call the Midwife and several BBC Comedies. She also regularly works with BBC Radio stations.
Sam was diagnosed with tinnitus and hearing loss just a year ago when she was 30 and has been avidly campaigning to raise awareness of the conditions since – earlier this year she was made the BTA Ambassador for 2019.

Sam will be both your panelist and host for this Headline Session.

Anne Savage

Anne is a UK Hard-Dance DJ and producer, she is one of the best known female DJ’s in the country and has been mixing since her teenage years. She has had tinnitus for over ten years and attributes it to the years of excessive noise damage doing her job. She is an active supporter of the BTA and is an ambassador for our tinnitus prevention campaign Plug’em.

In 2018 she started her Masters at Sheffield Hallam University in the study of Noise Safety in the Music Industry.
