The event
The route will start at 7pm on the north side of the world famous Millennium Bridge.
You will begin by running over the Thames and enjoying the world famous views of Tower Bridge and the Shard. The route then takes you along the historic south embankment, past the Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, some of London’s oldest pubs, like the Anchor and past Borough Market. You will cross over Southwark Bridge and hug the north embankment running towards the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.You will then return through the City, back over Southwark Bridge and towards St Paul’s Cathedral, via Millennium Bridge to the finish line on St Peter’s Hill.
Another truly iconic route for 2019! No previous experience is needed for a 5K like this. The route is relatively flat and you can either run, jog or walk. Do bring all the family along. This event will definitely get you feeling festive!
