Keep Christmas Merry: top tips for avoiding festive fatigue

Amidst the Christmas celebrations it’s important to avoid getting bogged down with festive fatigue. We know Christmas can be a stressful time of year. Whether you’re worried about your finances or cooking family dinner, it’s important to look after yourself and your Tinnitus.

We asked our new British Tinnitus Association staff members for their top tips on how to avoid festive fatigue. Here’s what they had to say:

Be Kind – Don’t Rewind: Tinnitus is a difficult condition to manage long-term. Get ahead of it by not beating yourself up or regretting past actions which could be blamed for your tinnitus appearing.  You can’t undo the past, but you can improve your present by focusing on today and changing how you think about your tinnitus. Look at our self-help guides, try things which expand your horizons, take care of yourself and be excellent to one another in 2020.
