The Tinnitus and Hyperacusis Network
About The Tinnitus and Hyperacusis Network
The Tinnitus & Hyperacusis Network was established as they perceived there to be a need for a rapid access tinnitus service, using modern and evidence-based techniques for diagnosis and therapy. Their aim is to support and care for people with troublesome tinnitus and hyperacusis in a person-centred service, helping people navigate a pathway towards restored quality of life.
Their new approach is to deliver tinnitus and hyperacusis care in an integrated multidisciplinary network, including Ear, Nose and Throat Consultants and Clinical Psychologists where required. Professor David Baguley is a part of the network and provides his expert clinical guidance where necessary. They accept self-referrals as well as medical referrals to include all those whom need guidance and help for tinnitus and hyperacusis.
Why The Tinnitus and Hyperacusis Network are supporting the BTA
“Being a member of BTA gives us access to accurate and up-to-date information to share with our clients, many of whom struggle with tinnitus on a day-to-day basis. We are proud to signpost our clients to the BTA’s many helpful resources and find this invaluable as part of our tinnitus sessions to guide our clients towards managing their tinnitus.”
