About The Tinnitus Clinic
The Tinnitus Clinic is an adult audiology rehabilitation company established in the private healthcare sector in 2011.
They are a Care Quality Commissioned registered clinic providing tinnitus, hyperacusis and hearing loss treatment across the UK. They believe that people deserve to live free from the burden of tinnitus, able to manage symptoms through a multi-disciplinary approach. In addition to audiologist experts in tinnitus, the clinic also has an in-house integrative counsellor and ENT services.
The Tinnitus Clinic aims to offer patients a highly personalised service either face to face in clinic or through advanced telecare options designed by the clinic and supported by leading hearing device providers.
Clients may self-refer, be referred by a GP or ENT doctor, or attend in association with a medico-legal case management company’s requirements for treatment.
Contact by email [email protected] or by phone on 0800 030 6617.
All of the audiologists and therapists at The Tinnitus Clinic are registered with appropriate bodies including HealthCare Professions Council. ENT consultants are granted practising privileges through the Patient Safety and Quality Governance Group chaired by Mr Nitesh Patel MBChB (Hons), FRCS (Eng), FRCS (ORL-HNS), Consultant ENT Surgeon.
Why The Tinnitus Clinic is supporting the BTA
“It is important that patient groups have an independent voice, which can provide unbiased opinions and influence health policy at a national and local level. The BTA’s new strategy of focusing on curing tinnitus is an ambition we applaud and look forward to supporting.”
Covid-19 update
The Tinnitus Clinic understands the disruption that has been caused by Covid-19. Their sites are open for new and established patients, following guidance from the Care Quality Commission and the British Society of Audiology with whom their clinics are registered.
There is reduced availability in some sites due to constraints outside their control. They can, however, usually see new patients within two weeks of a request for an appointment.
