The BTA Virtual Conference 2021 drew to a close on Friday, and it was a fantastic success!
Aimed at audiologists, ENTs, GPs, hearing care professionals, psychologists, tinnitus support groups and researchers, 300 people from 25 countries enjoyed a full programme of 20 online lectures and seminars, joined in the live Q&A sessions, and networked with others across five days.
Due to uncertainty over Covid restrictions, during planning, and because of the success of our first online conference in 2020, we decided to stick to virtual this year. It gave us the opportunity to host international experts from countries including Australia, New Zealand, the USA, and Europe. The virtual event also attracted attendees from across the globe, with people logging in from far and wide, including Belgium, Canada, Chile, India, South Africa, Singapore and United Arab Emirates.
