Tinnitus

The BTA Virtual Conference 2021

Our virtual tinnitus conference took place this autumn from 4 to 8 October 2021.

The BTA Virtual Conference 2021 – aimed at audiologists, ENTs, GPs, hearing care professionals, psychologists, tinnitus support group leaders and researchers – took place virtually with attendees getting full access to five days of lectures, workshops, seminars and additional resources.

Each day of the conference presents a different theme – including the psychology of tinnitus, practical skills and the latest in tinnitus research. Topics will range from paediatric tinnitus, PTSD management and tinnitus, and the impact of tinnitus on professional musicians.

You can now access all conference materials including session recording and presentations via a post-conference ticket, with access until October 2022.

What to expect?

The BTA were proud to welcome guest speakers from across the world to present at the 2021 Virtual Conference. On the final day of the conference, we were joined by Dr. Christopher R. Cederroth from Karolinska Institutet. Dr Cederroth explored Biomarkers in Tinnitus, which included a Q & A session with our audience. You can watch this session below:

Following on from the presentation in 2021, you can now read the full paper Alterations in auditory brainstem response distinguish occasional and constant tinnitus which was published in January this year.
