Euroinsights – HOF Lucerne – Eyewear Excellence
Nature, beauty, history, and independent eyewear eminence convene in the elegant city of Lucerne for Hall of Frames on September 4th. Co-ordinated and orchestrated by passionate independent eyewear loyalists Nathanaël Wenger and Eveline Perritaz, this special edition of HOF is being held in the renowned Swiss Transport Museum (Verkehrshaus.ch). The museum features vintage trains, boats, and cars, with interactive exhibits, and is the most visited museum in Switzerland. This is also the destination where visitors can participate in a Swiss Chocolate Adventure!
Lucerne is a stunning city, with its medieval architecture, and amazing mountain views. There is much to see and absorb: wander traffic-free cobblestone streets of the Old Town; walk across the wooden Chapel Bridge; reflect at the Lion of Lucerne Monument; marvel at the Baroque Jesuit Church with its eye-catching towers. You can also visit the lakeside home of composer Richard Wagner in Tribschen, where he created Götterdämmerung and Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg while in residence, and view his beautiful Erard piano where he composed his masterpieces.

In this stimulating, creative environment, over fifty independent eyewear designers and brands will present their latest collections of optical and sunglass designs. Among the participants are Nirvan Javan; Didier Voirol, Rolf; Einstoffen; JF Rey; Orgreen; Charmant; You Mawo; Any Di; Caroline Abram; Orgreen, and Coblens among other international labels.
Swiss creator Didier Voirol will present his latest collection of beautifully crafted bio acetate designs, and handmade metals in luscious colorations. Metal Art Concept Junior, also designed by Voirol, includes fresh, fun, and fashionable concepts for youngsters.

Rolf Spectacles, winner of the prestigious European Green Award, will feature their eco-friendly and sustainable glasses at HOF – the Substance Collection. The designs are crafted from the rapidly growing Euphorbiaceae plant and produced in the Tyrolean region of Austria. Rolf is the recipient of multiple Silmo d’Or awards, and their unique designs in natural woods and stone will also be featured in Lucerne.

Since Einstoffen in Switzerland established its brand in 2008; they have always stood for sustainability and fairness. Their latest “Offset” Collection is an impressive aesthetic concept of natural, ISCC-certified organic acetate from low-carbon production. Whether perceived as nature or art – The Blumenbinder (flower arranger) is a truly elegant design, shown in Ocean Blue.

A creative interplay of acetate and metal on the front of JF Rey style 2978, achieves a perfectly balanced round shape with bold energy and technical innovation. Its geometric construction, both modern and graphic with its colored contrasts and typical outlines, reflects the brand’s signature design.

The award-winning TMA frame from Silhouette takes on a completely new dimension with trendy tinted lenses. Exciting shapes – Rounded Teardrop, Aviator, Round, and Angled Butterfly – plus subtly chic lens colors – Radiant Rose Gold, Cosmic Blue, Mystic Ruthenium, and Spheric Silver – are cool, casual, and confident.

Variety and distinction are the spice of spectacles and Hall of Frames Lucerne is an ideal opportunity to discover, and explore options for edgy, trendsetting eyewear designs. More information at www.hallofframes.ch
