About Hearing Therapy
Our Principal Clinical Audiologist Tim Husband has been a Clinical Audiologist for 30 years. Starting his career in Bradford he then became Head of Adult Rehabilitation at Pinderfields Hospital and also graduated as a Hearing Therapist from Bristol University. He left Pinderfields to manage the Manchester branch of The Tinnitus Clinic and subsequently created and developed Novus Health Audiology where his has been Head of Service for the last 10 years. He has recently resigned from this position to concentrate on Hearing Therapy Ltd in Sheffield. He has delivered several lecture on Tinnitus to the European Tinnitus Conference, University College London, RNID and at BTA Conference.
The British Tinnitus Association has been central to my career as an Audiologist and Hearing Therapist. I applied to the BTA for funds to attend my first tinnitus conference were I attended lectures from Johnathan Hazel and Pawel Jastreboff. Their campaigning has supported the development and funding of clinics I have worked in specialising in tinnitus. The BTA remains an excellent primary referral point for well-written and impartial advice on tinnitus for members of the public.
