About the group
The Gloucester Tinnitus Support Group is re-establishing itself as a group that caters for people with tinnitus associated with or without hearing loss. We gather on a monthly basis for a two hour meeting at The Gloucester Deaf Association in Gloucester for the purposes of peer support and to invite health professionals, and experts to give presentations to the group. We are the only support group available in The West Country north of Bristol. The group caters for people both with and without hearing loss. We are a friendly bunch and welcome all, whatever your issues might be.

2022 Meetings
My name is Brendan Whyatt and I am a Registered Nurse who is running a monthly Tinnitus Support Group from The Gloucester Deaf Association site on the first Tuesday of each month from 2pm to 4pm. We are a friendly bunch and do our best to support each other in these trying times! Each month we will be having a theme and/or a Guest Speaker which includes activities that are both fun and therapeutic and you are invited to come along and join in! This is next month’s theme…
Meditation – I will be facilitating a Guided Mediation for relaxation and to provide symptom relief. We will also be having a guest speaker Dr James Jackson, leading researcher on tinnitus from Leeds Trinity University who will be telling us about his work and findings.
